Cristina Solorio
Cristina Solorio is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer, with additional certification credentials from UC Berkeley. For over 27 years, Cristina has been assisting clients in achieving health and fitness goals. Recognizing that each client is vastly different from the other, Cristina customizes her training programs according to her client’s personal needs, and takes strengths, weaknesses, physical abilities, prior history, activity preferences, and personal goals into consideration. Her passion is imparting a healthy lifestyle and body image to her clients, and motivating them to maintain these habits through their lifetime. As an avid runner, Cristina has coached runners of all levels, and specializes in teaching beginners to master the sport so that they can maximize their efforts. Cristina has competed in National Physique Committee (NPC) figure competitions, has amateur boxing experience, has played in various local softball teams, and is a professional salsa dancer. She uses these experiences to provide a variety of customized curriculums. In addition, these diverse activities allow her to add variety to her workout sessions. Cristina is also certified in TRX Group Suspension Training and TRX Functional Training; Rocktape Fascial Movement Taping Level 1 and 2; and is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach.
Another passion of hers is acquiring used and new baseball equipment to take to the underpriveleged youth of the Dominican Republic. She has been doing this for the past 10 years and hopes to reach kids in other areas as well. This has been a fun way for her to encourage children to be active as well as teaching them the value of teamwork.
